Are there confessionals and spiritual guidance available on campus?

Catholic Colleges are centers for spiritual development just as much as they are for educational development. The campuses often have centers for worship, mass, confession, and more.

Confessionals, or the Sacrament of Reconciliation, is available to students at Catholic colleges. Typically, there are regular hours each day that students can go to confess as they need to. Sometimes, especially during important liturgical seasons (Advent, Lent), those hours are increased or changed. Students may also be able to schedule specific times with a priest, if needed.

Spiritual guidance is also readily available to students at Catholic colleges. Even if students are not particularly religious or are of another faith, trained spiritual mentors or spiritual directors (often members of the Church) are available to meet with. These meetings are typically one-on-one, and guidance is tailored to each student and their specific needs or situations.

Both confessionals and spiritual guidance are almost always available to students on Catholic campuses. Different colleges may have different ways of going about confessionals or different processes for getting spiritual guidance. For specific information about what is offered by a Catholic college, inquire with the admissions department or search the website of the college(s) you are interested in attending.
